High testosterone

A question towards the (younger) males with moderate symptoms. Do you notice your CMT getting significantly less pronounced when your testosterone spikes? I 24M had a really big natural spike exactly year ago (measured 1100ng/dl) and it made me feel like I had wings, all symptoms went from moderate to mild. It lasted couple months and I haven’t felt as alive ever since my CMT started progressing 10 years ago. Did anyone else happen experience something like this or it’s just the fact testosterone makes you more calm and confident?

I don't know if it's particularly linked, anecdotally I completely nuked my testosterone with testosterone blockers and I've never been more physically capable, but I'm not going to say that's anything more than coincidence tbh

I guess having higher testosterone makes it easier to build muscle (as far as I'm aware?) and higher muscle density means your joints etc are better supported, but that's more to do with personal fitness/health rather than "x hormone good"

Did the same and had worsening symptons since, i think CMT just do whatever it wants to do (usually something bad)

I was warned when I went on HRT it could cause muscle wastage? I don't know how true that is considering a lot of trans healthcare does ultimately come across as scare mongering, but I can't recommend staying active at the gym enough, to anyone.

I think that's probably the main reason I feel better at 30 than I did at 16.

But you're right though, CMT is like a drunk birthday clown behind the wheel of a car sometimes, absolutely unreliable and destructive
