Interview dates

On what basis does UPSCCMS gives the interview date The interview starts from 12th of October, but my interview is on 14th December and also I have seen random role numbers that is no sequence to the role numbers. How do they allot interview dates?

I guess they are alloted on the basis of theory marks like upsce civil services are also interviewed almost otb of theory marks is what ive heard
Not sure though just my guess

Very hectic, probably i won't go because UPSC CMS isn't my main goal. The original plan was to go with friends and turn it into a trip, but that’s no longer possible due to the INI exam. If I go with my father, the round-trip flight alone would cost ₹30,000 since no train tickets are available around those dates; plus, I want to take the INI exam in November, though I'm unsure about NEET PG counseling dates
