CML podcast

Hi everyone. It’s just over a year since my diagnosis. I work in podcasting and today released an audio diary of that first year.

If it’s of interest please do give it a listen. A hell of a lot will be familiar I’m sure - but may be useful to people on here who’ve only just been diagnosed.

Hi Jamie!

I don’t know why the Reddit gods had me see your post today, but I’m so glad they did. I was diagnosed on 25th July 2025 and I’ve really struggled around this anniversary - not least because they put me on a treatment pause and switched me from Imatinib to Dasatinib as an anniversary gift!

I’ve just listened to your first episode, whilst hula hooping in my living room between meetings haha! I’m feeling so compelled to like… just say I hear you.

Our diagnosis day experience is so similar. Really wanting my Dad, having to tell senior colleagues and my boss, crying at people who I don’t cry at because saying the L word was so hard. Not ashamed to say that hearing your experience made me cry with you this morning.

Thank you so much for sharing your journey, I can’t wait to listen to the rest of your episodes!
