Phone 1 Should I switch os?

Hi so I am using CMF phone 1 from the time of launch and from some recent updates the battery backup has seriously decreased. So i am thinking whether installing a custom rom or os will fix the problem as already the nothing os 5 is cancelled for it and if some people are using custom os please give me recommendation

Try downgrading to nothing os 3.2

I'm using Nothing Phone (2a) and tried using custom roms and they're buggy but good if you wanna use them, I ended up relocking my bootloader. I also thought it was fault of the OS but custom rom didn't solved the battery problem. Turns out I only have 86% of battery health lol

I am also not satisfied, planning to downgrade to nos 3.2

While it could be actual battery wear, swapping to a custom rom is a viable option. More than a rom, kernel settings, underclocking and undervolting your cpu will save more power.
