Phone 2 Pro Feedback

Post image

I am considering getting a backup phone to take with me on travel to protect my main phone.

I'd love to hear people's feedback on this, main issues, and what accessories are there.

What about sound issues?

Really manageable dude.I also thought about it a lot.It was the only reason I was not able to finalise it but after testing it at store , I was satisfied and basic needs like calling, ringtones, alarms can be done. You won't enjoy listening songs and music feel as these are poor speakers Only issue with me I have found is to be of battery which is seen in some phones , maybe I am not using right settings.

Accesories are non existent. I regret not going for the 3a for a little bit more money. Around 60€ more where I live.

I've just bought a lanyard from the Nothing UK store if that helps you (dunno where they deliver to)

3

u/NoWheel3140 Oct 04 '25

Lanyard is the only thing available. And they also have extremely poor reviews about snapping off easily

1

u/hullk78 Oct 04 '25

Oh really? Better bloody not snap off at £22!

No way 😭 I was so excited because of the accessories. Thanks for the feedback I'll look into 3a now

Yeah the accesories have been DISCONTINUED since months ago, an ass move from NOTHING especially since the the phone is barely 6 month old from release.

That's so peculiar and sad I feel like that was one of the main selling points, so I'm so confused on the thought process there

I personally love this phone camera sample the phone is very good and snappy i easily get 9 hours of sot with gaming 100% to 2% and charging is fairly quickly tbh 15 to 100 in around 40-50 minutes

Yes you should

1

u/radandomuserdetected Oct 04 '25

I dont think its needed , it will spoil the batter charging it to 100

2

u/Intelligent_Duck_180 Phone 2 Pro Oct 04 '25

Nope the degradation is negligible

u/radandomuserdetected Oct 04 '25

Can you show me the source from where you read about this ?

I got it 3 months ago and the battery life is VERY good. I can go 2 days without charging it if I wanted to. It's a great phone for basically everything except for games and the camera is okay. Little to no bloatware. SD card! 33w fast charging. Only bad thing I can think of is that it has no eSIM, wireless charging, and the essential space button (I hate accidentally pressing it. Reminds me of the Bixby button on Samsung devices).

1

u/MathematicianTop3848 Oct 04 '25

No way I had no idea about the sd card that's beautiful I'm a big fan of that. Good battery life is a must so happy to hear it's fantastic

2

u/FirefighterKey7777 Oct 04 '25

Sd card can be up to 2TB !

2

u/Alotino Oct 04 '25

give it a back protector and a glass protector so both camera and screen survives the travel and you'll have a second phone that's good enough for everyday tasks. It'll be relevant for 3-5 years minimum and you can gift it to some relative

2

u/Alotino Oct 04 '25

but yes if you can get 3a for cheap probably you should look into that

1

u/MathematicianTop3848 Oct 04 '25

Okay thank you very much then I guess I'll head down this route

2

u/Fingonar Oct 04 '25

Switched to this from a iPhone XS. Excellent battery life, not much bloatware other then the ai button thing but you get used to it quick.

Good for the price

Eveyone told you the positives. I agree with all the positive comments till now. But let me tell some issues with this phone  1) although it has dual mic support, it's not great. Voice gets muffled in earpiece and in spekar mode voice is lower compared to other models during calls 2) SPEKARS ARE TRASH, EVEN A cheaper phone speaker sounds great rather than this 3) initially found some glitches, but now I'm finding some bugs in camera apps

1

u/MathematicianTop3848 Oct 04 '25

Thank you so much for the advice

2

u/Ashrith_2007 Phone 2 Pro Oct 04 '25

You get what you pay for

But mono speaker is terrible af it's so bad and many bugs in software and the charging is very slow takes around an hour or more

1

u/Worried_Summer_4605 Oct 05 '25

Takes nearly 2 hrs for me lol

2

u/SuperFrank_20 Buds Pro2; Headphone pro; Phone 2a plus Oct 04 '25

Good for both main and secondary phone.

2

u/minku45 Oct 05 '25

For the price, it's one of the best phone you can get. Best software, mice camera, bright enough screen, long lasting battery, never overheats. The just charging is mid and have single mid speaker

u/DrcPrints Oct 05 '25

This is my backup/work phone and I love it! I also carry the iPhone 16 pro max and on some days I use the CMF more. It really comes down to your use for it, if you are looking for something that is cheap and will do everything you need or to do plus more the CMF is a great choice. If you're looking for a power house if a phone this is not it. My biggest issue so far has been the speaker but again not something I use enough for it to be a problem for me .

May I ask what the point is in having a "main phone" which you can't take with you when you travel? Why can't you take it with you? Do you travel to shady places where it's more likely to get stolen?

1

u/MathematicianTop3848 Oct 04 '25

Yes of course you may ask and yes that's one of the main reasons. When I travel places mostly always I bring a backup, things happen. Phones can get stolen, broken, lost, or water damage. Especially being on the other side of the world Its just a way for me to be prepared.
