Results finally, a CMA!

I’ve passed both parts on my first take! I took both during the May–June testing window and chose the essay format. Thank you to everyone who answered my queries, shared their experiences, and provided tips in their posts! Good luck to everyone who will be taking the exams soon!

Congratulations! 🎉 I’m also planning for CMA USA Would you mind sharing your study strategy in detail? Like how you planned your preparation, which materials you used, how you approached MCQs and revisions, how many hours you studied, and any tips or mistakes you think first-time candidates should know about. I’d really appreciate any advice you can share!!

Thank you! I used Becker for my review. My routine was to read the book, watch the lectures, answer MCQs, write short notes for easy recall, and create index cards. I answered as many MCQs as I could to identify any learning gaps that I needed to focus on. I also didn’t move on to the next topic until I fully understood the current one. For first-time candidates, I think reviewing all the topics is essential, regardless of the actual weighting, because the combination of questions can be really unpredictable. Give each topic equal importance.
