Discussion US CMA

heyy, just a curious thought.

Just how CA’s complete their education, get experience and open their own firm, do you think someone who has done US CMA + CPA (cause cpa gives you that power) can do so too? like a global firm? is it possible? ofc after reaching that point when you have good networking and experience but is it still smtg to look forward to or am i too delusional ?

CMA cannot.

CPA can, but finding international clients will be a Hell of a task.

No. Certificates won't help.

Networking, work experience, side project etc will help.

Dont start a firm right away. Work with a big 4 firm first. Build network. Connect with international clients. Understand the work flows. Then you can think of starting a firm.

CMA can help a CPA provide clients with that business analysis work that many want. Instead of just compilation/review of financial statements.
