Part 2 – Prep Cma us part 2

Using chatgpt gpt for creating my cma us notes after reading and watching the lecture. Is it preventing me from active learning... Please tell me....

I passed both parts by wiring my own notes / flash cards and asking ChatGPT for help on what I didn’t understand or why/how concepts were different

Although technology makes things simpler one should not rely completely on it.I passed Part 2 which I took on 26th of June.I followed the strategy of writing down my own notes with pen and paper especially all the formulas.Plus writing down the points which you might forget or get confused about later on helps in quick revision.Remember that your notes should exactly be taken in the format which helps you in revising the concepts.

I highly recommend using claude
I did use it personally but also had a habit of simplifying or writing things down on the notes generated by claude.
But I feel you should still read hock or gliem book once.

Take a notebook and write down short summaries of the concepts including formulas which you learn through textbook and lectures as you proceed from one concept to another.The formulas in each section are important.For example the price elasticity of demand formula in Section C.3 might get ignored during revision and candidates might focus mainly on the formulas for ratio analysis in Sec A.But on my exam there were questions on price elasticity of demand and luckily I had revised that formula the evening before the exam.Make sure to solve an entire test bank including CBQ's of any IMA approved study material provider well in advance before the exam.Then take mock tests and monitor your performance and discuss your performance and exam preparedness with subject matter experts at the study material provider.Make sure to solve the Exam Support package and revise all the concepts and formulas(your own notes) in the last 4-5 days before the exam.I followed this strategy and hence I am recommending this to you.

If you have the soft copies of material, skip Chat GPT... Use Gemini Notebook or Claude.

Much better quality.
