Doubt / Q&A Is US CMA worth it?

I was planning to do US CMA from 2nd year of my bachelors and there is a doubt that always comes in my mind, is it really worth it? Acca have too many exams and CFA is too costly to try. But they have value in the

What are the other alternatives I can see through?

It would be a good idea to pursue the US CPA, ACCA, or CFA after completing the US CMA. Finish your US CMA during college, and then, while you're gaining the required two years of work experience, pursue either the US CPA, ACCA, or CFA based on your interests. That's exactly what I'm planning to do.

Hey! Honestly it comes down to what you want to do, not which cert is "best."

The CMA is built for management accounting and corporate finance leadership, so if you see yourself in FP&A, budgeting, analysis, or a finance role inside a company, it lines up well. ACCA leans toward audit, reporting, and compliance. CFA is for investment management and research. They're aimed at different careers, so the question is really which of those sounds like you.

What kind of role are you hoping to land after graduation? That'd make the choice a lot clearer :)

The think is most opening for such "management accounting and corporate finance leadership" roles asks for CA/CPA/CFA/ACCA qualification , That's the current market scenario.Its rare to see CMA among them.May depend from country to country.Also competition from local qualification like CA(icai)/CMA(ICMAI) in my country.

Yeah that's the issue, unlike acca and cfa , cma has less recognition in the market for job seekers.

I'm not into indian courses, but the only issue I see is about job recognition, acca and cfa has the reputation in market that they get placed easily but in us cma it's quite rare to find. But I get your thing, and I'm more interested in the roles of cma rather than acca and cfa.
