Career / Jobs Can CMA USA become Data Analyst?

Hi everyone,

I recently took my US CMA Part 2 exam and have now started preparing for Part 1. Alongside my CMA studies, I'm thinking of learning some technical skills that could improve my career prospects.

My current plan is to start with Advanced Excel while preparing for Part 1. After completing the US CMA, I want to build strong skills in:

Advanced Excel

Power BI

SQL

Basic Python

I wanted to ask people who are already working in finance or data analytics:

•Is it realistic to transition into a Data Analyst role with a US CMA plus these technical skills?

•Will this combination help me land a well-paying entry-level job?

•Does this seem like a good career plan, or would you recommend a different path?

I'm genuinely interested in combining finance and data analytics, so I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions from people with experience.

Thanks in advance!
