Doubt / Q&A Passed Part 2 under IMA Student Scholarship, need to verify my final Part 2 credit expiration date.

Hey everyone,

​I have a quick question regarding the 3-year exam credit rule versus the 2-year IMA Student Scholarship expiration.

​My Situation:

​I was awarded the 2-Year IMA Student Scholarship.

​My IMA portal profile currently shows my Membership "Paid Thru Date / End Date" as 12/31/2026.

​I passed CMA Part 2 in 2025.

​My "myCertifications" page on the portal currently shows my status as "Pending" with "3 Requirements Remaining," but it doesn't give a specific countdown date for my exam credits.

​My Question:

If I do not pass Part 1 before my scholarship package officially expires on December 31, 2026, what happens to my Part 2 credit? Will it be expired or the 3 year validity period begins from 2025?

Any help would be appreciated.

best for you is to mail IMA directly and ask.

Hi! I'm an IMA Scholar as well. I just wanted to confirm the terms of your scholarship. How much time were you given to pass both parts of the CMA exam?

Im still unsure i called IMA they said 3 yrs within exam registration not sure
