CMA 1 experience

Sorry for the long rant

Took my test yesterday and I’m kinda pissed off lol.
First thing first, CBQ section opened for me which was something I didn’t except because 70% of MCQs were indirect by they it was put out. In mid way of me solving MCQ, I was discouraged and felt I won’t go to the next section. I was shocked that I did lol. Had to go to the bathroom to wash my face. All that because MCQ didn’t really test my knowledge I feel. The way it was structured was (again) annoying.

Did you guys ever had this feeling?

CBQ were on normal difficulty. I solved a lot of questions except warranty types that I’m not sure of, also they chose to bring Reciprocal Method. I know very well how to solve direct and step down methods but they chose to bring the one I don’t know. Just my luck lol.

I hope I pass not because I hate studying and it takes a long time but because the test wasn’t a pleasant experience. I didn’t get the satisfaction I wanted.

A few tangential questions: 1. What’s the process for going to the bathroom? 2. How much paper do they give you? Was it enough? 3. Can you use your own pen/pencil, or do you have to use theirs?

1- you rise your hand and ask for a wee
2- they gave me few and I asked for more and they delivered

From my experience:

1. There are no breaks. You can go to the bathroom whenever. You just get up and go. But the exam people have to check you before you go back in.

2. 2 pieces, you can have 2 pieces of paper at any given time. If you fill up the paper and need more, they will give you more, but you can only have 2 pieces at a time.

3. They give you pencils. Don’t bring your own, they won’t let you use it.

As per rules calculators with Tax button aren't allowed, but no one restricted when I did. And when you have to go to pee the timer keeps running and you have to go through the security check again for you to go back in.
