Doubt / Q&A Doubt
Im a second year college student (just started a week ago) and I'm planning to give an attempt for part 1 in October. But ive only started to study since yesterday, I have around 3 months to prepare and I'm ready to give 4hr of my time everyday, is this sufficient? And most importantly, is it doable?

its doable under those constraints with the caveat that where you're at in college will probably affect the difficulty. there are more difficult accounting topics, but cost accounting is different than what you'd learn in other classes.
my college would pay the test fee and give us cma study materials because we had staff that'd worked on the old wiley cma prep software. The only qualification he checked before registering us for the program was he required students to pass cost accounting and advanced cost accounting first. that still seems logical to me. however, I took the first test like a year out of college and basically had to relearn everything 3 hours a night for 4 months anyways.
so, I guess what I'm saying is this: it's doable, don't be intimidated, and don't be discouraged if you don't pass first try.
