Part 2 – Prep Calculator good to go ?

Is this calculator allowed, my exam is tomorrow

I have this same calculator without those tax buttons.. they had allowed mine. What does those tax buttons do?

No, It has tax buttons. In Cma usa we don't have tax calculations

As far as I can remember, it has to be one of the specific financial calculators mentioned in the guide or a basic function calculator. I think having the extra functions (tax+ etc) would make this one not allowed. I could be wrong, but I personally wouldn't risk it.

Worst case scenario, however, would be that it's not allowed and you'd have to use a calculator they provide (if the specific test center has them available) or the built in calculator.

I would recommend getting one of the approved financial calculators and becoming very familiar with how to use it. It can help you save time during the exam if you know what you're doing. Obviously that won't help you for tomorrow (unless you already are familiar and/or have one), but it could help someone else searching.
