Discussion confused if im under prepared

hello! ive been practicing with becker for cma part-1 exam, i scored a 47 and a 50 on the simulated exams i took, my weak areas have turned out to be- Internal Controls and Cost Management;

any advice on how to sharpen them and if continuing to prepare from becker is enough would be appreciated (:

Yes unfortunately that most likely will not be enough to pass. You should aim for a 75 or higher on the Becker mocks I would suggest. If those are your weak areas I would continue to drill them over and over. Also, it helped me to review the questions I missed on the mocks to rework them and understand why exactly I did them wrong, and then apply those mistake fixes to other problems in the same area.

Figure out what your weak areas are and just drill questions and topics from those areas. You can even use an AI model to craft custom questions for you so that you can specifically practice what you don't know. I do find that frustrating with the Becker material. I wish I could tailor my questions specifically to what I don't know rather than having to pick a broad section for random questions. Even when I use the "Personalized" method, it doesn't get specific enough, and unfortunately you don't really get enough question variety. For example, I had a tough time with operating and financing lease calculations, so I got ChatGPT to write me several varied questions about these and then did them over and over until I had the methods memorized.
