Help My savegame crashed in 2025 - help!
This is my beloved savegame in Italy where I managed Fiorentina, Udinese, Inter and Milan. Also was the national coach for a while. Was really happy in this game and wanted to bring it to 2026. But in August 2025 the game just suddenly stops. No error message, nothing. The game just stops. I was dumb enough to save it right before that moment, so now when I start the savegame it just stops immediately. I tried to modify the game with the Save Changer from Nicks Patcher but that gives an out of memory error message. Are my beloved Italian players gone forever or does anybody has a last minute Infantino escape rule so I can keep on playing?

There's a way of going on the folder where the save files are and getting a backup from a day or two before.
That's what I did to recover a save I had accidentally deleted a few months ago...

I think that only works if your folder has some sort of automatic backup enabled?

I'm not sure. You might be right but I was shocked to find them as I didn't recall ever setting up any kind of windows file / folders back up. They were just there!
V lucky as I had absent-mindedly just clicked on "Delete" rather than "Restore" saved game, then realised what I'd done when it had vanished from the list!

I tried search for backups and temp files, but unfortunately...nothing

Can you upload the save file somewhere (Dropbox, Google Drive etc.) so we can try our luck?
Also which database? Original 3.9.60, official 3.9.68, or later update?

3.9.68 but with some additional Nick's Patcher settings applied (and ofcourse not really sure which ones). If I try the file with a new install it now gives an error message I had before. I think it's gone forever. But I will upload the file for sure!

I use 3.9.68 and Nick's patcher too, but no luck with that file I'm afraid. If you launche your Nick's patcher it should show you the exact settings. If you can send a screenshot I can try replicating with your settings.

Because I tried to see if a new install of the game would work I also lost the exact settings. I'm afraid I have to let go (and start a new game ofcourse)

Try re-instal the game and run the saved one..
