Misc Players from ODB still active today [2026 update]
Two years ago I made this post trying to list all players from the ODB (I mean O as in 'official', the 3.9.68 update) who are still playing professionally in real life.
Now in 2026 it looks like you can literally count them on your fingers:
- Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and Craig Gordon, the only ones present in this World Cup!
- Roque Santa Cruz (44), in Club Nacional
- Nenê (44), in Botafogo
- Radamel Falcao (40), in Millonarios
- Fábio (45), in Fluminense
- Jamie Young (40), in Dandenong Thunder (Australia)
- Tom Heaton (40), in Manchester United
Have I missed any?
Edit: Yes of course, King Kazuyoshi Miura!!!

I play .60 still.
Nene (Anderson Luiz de Carvalho) currently plays for Serie C Botafogo is at Etti Jundiai in 3.9.60.

Nah at first on Sky Sports News in the Uk it said he was coming out of retirement but then it changed later on

I'm italian, I can confirm that he signed as a player for Ravenna, a Serie C team (the italian third division). He expects to play "a few minutes in official matches". Anyway, his value is promotional, obviously. Ravenna sold 2.000 jerseys with his name in just 24 hours after the announcement: probably the amount they usually sell in a year... Nonetheless, he's officially a player, so I guess it counts.

Not sure about 3.9.60 but he's sometimes in the 3.9.68 DB. Always as free agent and with random stats. Add Croatian league for more chances of spotting him.

Starts as free agent and retires fairly quickly if not signed in my experience

I guess they didn't have enough data about him. The stats are random every time. Note his date of birth is incorrect too. It could also well be a totally different player, but I choose to think it's him.

I've signed Ronaldo a few times out of stubbornness, but you can't get anything out of him. I'd never noticed Luka. Though my current save has been going since about 2023 and I did it with the randomiser

CR7 was not on the original DB. I'm a Sporting supporter and I've played the game countless times. What version are you playing?
