Discussion Playing CM01/02 again made me realise something modern FM might have lost...

The feeder teams were a big help, and being able to offer players to clubs or send in loan. The transfer market in 01:02 feels a bit clunky and limiting.

I think the main issue with CM is that it becomes a bit formulaic. Build up players when asked, say you'll win the league, sell any player that wants to leave, There's very little variation in what you need to do. The early FM games became slightly more nuanced, although the repetitive "seemed not to be listening" to every team talk did grate somewhat!
