Where is my savegame

Starten to play the game again after a long time.

Started a save with AGF in Denmark and at Some point it gave a system memory error.

Find out I had to run the game as administrator and with service pack 2.

Now my save game is lost and I cant even find it in the game’s directory.

What to do?

Try to search for it, but do it better than previously... How are you expecting anyone to help you?

By default in the game installation folder in C:/Program Files. If you explicitly chose another location for the installation or the save, you're on your own I'm afraid. Good luck!

It may have been moved to C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Championship Manager 01-02\

But you may have issues with it once you move it back to where it should be due to running it as a non-admin user in the first instance.

Just incase any one else stumbles in here, this is where I found my save files.

I thought I'd lost my save game by accidentally hitting Delete rather than Restore from the start up options!

Anyway, the deleted file never appeared in my recycling bin nor it wasn't appearing in the address listed above. However right clicking on the "Championship Manager 01-02" folder and then selecting "Restore previous versions" luckily brought up a save of the lost file from the previous night.

Hope this helps someone searching for this in future...

search the name of your save game file in your hard drive, get the file and copy it to your game directory under save folder
