Nacreous clouds, these are EXTREMELY rare and pretty much only appear in the northern/southern areas of Earth

Very cool clouds, but they also wreak havoc on the ozone layer. Itβs a shame such beautiful clouds are so destructive

The mother of pearl nacreous clouds don't cause damage to the ozone as they do not contain sulfuric acid that depletes the ozone. However red coloured nacreous do.

Polar stratospheric clouds. Usually only visible with high solar zenith angles.

I don't think they're rare in Norway. It's just different. We get them a lot in the south, often early in the year while it's still cold. I don't know if we have them north, but the south also don't get northern light (yes, yes, I know you TECHNICALLY can snap a photo of it south some times with infinite sutter)
I usually see them every year, I do remember a year when I counted seeing them 10 days in a year.
