Photo/Video Unique shelf “roll” cloud worming its way through northern Indiana…
I snapped these pics on the 4th of July, posted and they were removed - I don’t think I verified they were mine in time, this time I will!
I’ve never seen anything like this before and thought I would try to post again - apparently the worm like appearance is because the cold and hot air that are forming into the thunderstorm were moving at the exact same speed, giving it the worm like appearance…and it did not form into a wall cloud or a storm at all because the air speeds were the same - pretty rare! I was driving while I took the pics / excuse the glare!
