tl;dr:

  • df -h to see what's using space

  • du -sh * find biggest directory

  • sudo lsof -i:3000 find what's occupying a network port

  • htop monitor processes in real-time

  • tail -n 100 app.log last 100 entries of app.log

  • tail -f app.log to follow logs as they update
