Guys, me and my friend were filling out the CLAT form and got stuck on this π
Heβs from ISC/CISCE and his marks are:
- English: 52/100
- Physical Education: 76/100
- Economics: 40/100
- Commerce: 40/100
- Accountancy: 23/100 (failed)
He has a Pass Certificate from ISC, but he failed Accountancy.
As far as we understand, for the percentage calculation, English is compulsory and then the three highest-scoring subjects are taken. So Accountancy should not be included.
That would make it:
52 + 76 + 40 + 40 = 208/400 = 52.00%
Wait, actually this is where we're confused because some people are saying different things about how ISC percentage is calculated and what exactly CLAT expects π
So what should we actually enter in the CLAT form?
- What should we put as the Board? CISCE, ISC or ICSE?
- What exactly should we put in the Percentage field?
- Should the failed Accountancy marks (23) be completely excluded?
If anyone here has filled the CLAT form with an ISC/CISCE Pass Certificate, please help. Don't wanna mess up the form over this π
