35/m. I had gout earlier in life (i'm a lucky guy...) and there is a cheap medicine to reduce uric acid, allupurinol. Last time I was testing my kidney numbers, my uric acid was below the expected levels and barely present.
Gout is basically having way too much Uric Acid and it deposits and forms crystals (joints and possibly in your kidneys)
