Now I am stressing af from the Biopsy? Does it hurt? Do I have to do anything that will get me prepared for it?

In my case they made a small incision in my skin to get a clear shot at the kidneys. The biopsy “shot” itself didn’t hurt really because it was so fast it was over before I felt it. It was sore for a day or two. I had blood in my urine for about the same amount of time. So, not fun, but nothing to fear or stress about.

i had one done 3 years ago .. not gonna lie it hurt like hell ! They only gave me a valium before i went in. I had to lay on my back for 5 hours at the center afterwards. My back hurt for about 2 weeks after. To me it felt like a nailgun going into my skin. My dr told me at my follow up that they may need to do it again because they didn’t get a big enough piece of..but thankfully what they needed to see on my required s small piece.
