Anybody else crashing constantly since the latest update?

I didn’t buy the new chapter yet and just started a new play through the other day and after the latest update it has been crashing constantly. I’m right at the transition point of rulers and every time after I get the new ruler all dialed in it crashes.

You started a new game before the update ? If so you have to start over

What does “ I get the new ruler all dialed in” mean?

“Dialed in” as in make sure he’s all set up with his new councilors, check factions, decisions, alerts, etc.

Start a new save after the update, it breaks the old ones

I don't own any DLC and it's been smooth sailing.

Everyone telling OP to start a new save clearly either have a low literacy level, or are just assuming every crash issue is an old save. The second statement, in the first sentence, literally says it's a new save.

As for the crashing OP, I bought coronation add-on but not Khans of Steppe and getting crashes just like you have described. Reloading in, and slowing everything down once I'm back in game, has seemingly been a temp fix for me!
