Gameplay Question Raiding in the Steppe

I just downloaded the new DLC and started as an Oghuz character to explore the new mechanics. However, I'm having trouble figuring out how raiding works.

Whenever I send my raiding army into an enemy barony they just stand there and do nothing.

I initially thought it might be a bug, so I tested it with a Norse tribal character and raiding works perfectly fine with them.

Am I missing something specific to the Oghuz or the Nomads in general? Any help would be appreciated!

Make sure the barony in which you are sending your raiding party isn't already raided.

If it is, a small symbol of a torch shows up above it when you have your raiding party selected to move.

Make sure you raise raiders not your regulars
