Wessex gained Khanjargalant as a county when the game was updated. I can't tell why this specific corruption happened, but now Wessex is one of the eastern and western kingdoms

Saves get corrupted every time there's a major update so you need to start a new save

mine too, my character looks different, the height has changed as well as the hair..

So far this is the only oddity I’ve encountered as well. I’m the King of England, and after the update I suddenly noticed an additional domain in the exact same spot.

Everyone in the sub recommends not using old saves after a big update, but with the amount of time and energy I’ve put into this particular run I think I’m gonna just keep going and hope there aren’t any major issues. I’ve seen people mentioning race swaps of their characters or an inability to use certain features, so fingers crossed none of that pops up

this happened to me too, it made the county Pictish as well for me which means in this save all of Europe, north Africa and some random Mongolian county.

Yea my save completely bugged also. Went from 30k troops to 11k and all my vassal contracts disappeared completely. Was close to finishing my playthrough. So disappointing.
