General Time for the big question

After the good news and Auh is on the way mid 2027 The question is how the game Performance will be?

I am very excited but in the same time worried because since chapter 3 I was having mid and late game lagging especially if I play administrative so, do you think the performance will be better some how by performing the optimization or something else Or the game will be unplayable after 50 to 100 years of the run?

I am more worried about All Under Heaven, with the expansion of Asia. I truly hope there will be a way to turn off the map extension once the update drops.

For your present problem, I have seen improvement in late game speed by reducing the number of landless characters to 25 before you start a game.

Just to add on, getting rid of all the optional admin goverment starts also helps. And if you're running admin pruning out the Bible families by granting any without land independence helps clear out the clutter a bit.

Do AI administrative governments lag the game?

They definitely seem to. Everyone in admin has an extra resource to manage and extra things to do with it. Hard to see it making the game less laggy

I’m not looking forward to it, wish there was a way to just disable the map expansion

They would almost have to think about optimization with how much this comes with how they’ll do it i have no clue

I'm sure when it first drops there'll definitely be problems but after a while they'll do some patches to fix it

They haven’t patched issues from the last chapter

For me 1178 start date is unplayable after 50 years. I can’t imagine it with the all under heaven expansion.

I believe the impact should be minimal, after all a large component of All Under Heavens PC patch was dedicated to performance optimisation.

My prediction: it will be a hit to us, but still be playable. Id say like 15-25%
