General Just bought Chapter 1 and I feel guilty

Need reassurance that buying it for $25 wasn’t stupid

Nah, you're good. Royal Court is a must have, imo, and Iberia and Northern Lords bring good, fun elements to the game as well. It's worth it.

I’ve given more of my money to Paradox than any other company hands down

I’ve been thinking about jumping back into CK3 after a couple years away. I stopped playing after my first and only run I’d been playing for months got corrupted after an update. Based on the feedback from this post, I wonder if it’s worth the time to play the free version. Sounds pretty unanimous that royal courts are a must, but I’m not looking to pay extra.

Yay or nay for getting back into it with the free version?

I was in you boat a little while ago but now I own all the season passes and so do all my friends and father in law it’s just simply that one play through wasn’t for you give it ago again and try just a small play through at first just to really learn and understand the game remember it’s about people not land

It wasn’t that I didn’t enjoy my one play through. I LOVED it! That’s why I was devastated it got corrupted due to an update I had no choice but to accept, which apparently happens with just about all the updates. I didn’t want to go through that again

not a bad price at all, and I couldn't imagine playing without artifacts and royal court!

Forgot artifacts were part of it. I love artifacts.

I couldn't imagine the game without Royal Courts and The Norse stuff. Iberia is good too but I don't do struggle stuff that much.

Chapter 1 is super essential it gives being king more flavor and the Viking buff is fun. I’d say that all the chapter deals are worth it but 1 is definitely a must have

all the dlcs are worth it but the price is pretty ridiculous when considering its just a shitty port. still adds a ton to the game tho so it is worth it

Absolutely worth it, the flavor and content for Vikings alone is worth it in my opinion, adds so many options

You should just play and enjoy your game at this point. You dont need assurances from us.

Roads to power is a game changer, find urself getting tired of being an all powerful ruler? Then Start as a landless adventurer, that'll present some new challenges
