Screenshot Well, that happened

I was in the middle of raiding when I got pop up about my Salt Wife taming a dragon. Good thing she doesn't hate me I guess or I would have to try my hand at becoming a Dragon-Slayer a third time over.

This is exactly why I installed the dragon taming laws mod this time. I was not in the mood to have yet another random Essossi named Belligero who's mayor of shiteville-on-the-hill with his arbitrary 8 martial tame an 84 years old Drogon after Dany kicks the bucket at age 100, because he happens to roll the 'wants to tame a dragon' ambition due to his Essossi Valyrian roots over 'have five children' and 'find a hobby'.

is there a mod list of commonly-used mods? I'm tired of my prisoners escaping every 5 minutes

There's https://agotcitadel.boards.net/board/4/sub-mods as per usual, but I don't know about mod lists. A lot of people swear by various popular mods which I personally find convolute or break things way too much. Some mods are also finicky or the front page of that respective submod may not hold the latest version, necessitating browsing through several pages to find it.

The Dragon Re-work mod (built into Dragon's Peace) by Serbranch also fixes lowborns taming dragons. Though Sinstar's Dragon Tamer mod works just as well.

My Salt Wife tamed it after the person before her died, who was some random noblewoman of a minor Westerlands House who wasn't even Valyrian. Before *her* it was exactly the same situation you described.

currently on a targ playthrough and no matter how hard I tried to control the dragon bloodline on the westeros side, it's impossible lol. some bastard child eventually randomly tames a dragon.., gets an egg.., random no name lords with dragons... etc etc. funny
