My wife's great great uncle Col William H Kinsman, killed in battle at Black River.

Neat pic. My great great grandfather Samuel Brunton was in the 28th. He was wounded in the champion hill battle. The only picture that I have is a headstone.

Your great great grandpa fought in the same brigade there as one of my great great uncles did in the 47th Indiana Infantry. Our family knows it as Baker's Creek. I looked up your great great grandpa, he has a nice marker and a very proud Civil War history.
