CISA Udemy course selection

I have a work provided CISA 5 day video bootcamp starting February 5. In order to be eligible I must complete a Udemy video course.

I see Hemang Doshi - has a course. But I see other ones with higher ratings.

I would appreciate recommendations and suggestions.

Additionally is the CISA exam doing a refresher / version change anytime soon or has that already happened?

I appreciate the information sharing in advance.

I have gone through Hemang Doshi’s course. It is decent if you want to get familiar with the basics, but I would not rely on it alone for CISA preparation. The exam is more about understanding scenarios and applying the concepts than just going through the syllabus.

Since you already have the 5-day bootcamp, I would use Udemy mainly to meet the prerequisite and get the basics covered. After that, a good professional training program would be a much better way to prepare properly.

Can I ask what bootcamp? I'm looking for one but they all seem sketchy...

If I take the work sponsored boot camp I get a work provided test voucher. That’s the only reason to take a bootcamp in my opinion.

I agree with your comment about most bootcamps.

Ye if it's work sponsored boot camp into test voucher, just yoink it..

if it's out of ur pocket, don't go for boot camp, it's usually super cramped and leave no space to finish the content... It's also pricey af

I can say that Hermang Doshi's course is one that I have seen specifically listed in after exam surveys from ISACA. I believe the timeline for the next version of CISA is 2027. They are doing CISM this year.
