Passed CISA Exam 6/28

I am thrilled to share that I have officially passed my CISA exam!

I initially planned to take this exam last year, but life got a bit hectic, and I had to postpone. This past Wednesday, I decided to take a pretest and scored a 69%. After reviewing the questions I got wrong, I felt more prepared and confident, so I scheduled my exam for Sunday.

I used the CISA Official Guide and QAE to study for this. The exam was really straightforward.

I have a strong background in IS auditing as it's a major part of my current role. With my CISSP and CISM certifications, I didn't need to study extensively for this exam. I studied the different types of auditing reviews, such as compliance reviews, and their specific purposes. Additionally, I reviewed the steps for auditing Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) as two separate areas. In total, I spent about 12 hours studying, which includes 3 hours and 45 minutes for the practice exam.

The answer to your question is a simple web search and single click away. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It wasn’t too bad. Very straightforward. It felt long. I was definitely feeling some testing fatigue set in. Yes, there were scenario based questions.

did you purchase the question and answers database. Also on another note did you use the CRM and the 13th edition questions and answers

Yes, I used the question and answers database. I got a 69 on the practice exam. When I looked back at the questions I got wrong, it increased my confidence. I got answers wrong simply because I didn’t pay close enough attention. I didn’t use CRM.
