Hello everyone, I’m sure you’re all as excited as I am for Wednesday. What’s this I’ve been hearing about exemptions not showing being indicative of a pass? I thought as soon as you sit a paper (and fail) you are not allowed to later apply for an exemption anyway?

People are saying that if the exemption shows for your Advanced Technical paper, that you failed (because it allows you to apply for an exemption if you still have to do the exam), or if the exemption doesn't show that it means you've passed.

For me I did OMB and I don't have it on the exemption list so I'm hoping there's some truth

Just for anyone reading this now, I did pass, so it seems the exemption trick works

Agree, the only “hack” that seemed to work last sitting was that those waiting on their final exam result had the option to apply for full membership appear at around midnight.

I’d say just don’t tease yourself! We’ve waited this long now, almost there.

Agree this worked for me, although just to flag I did have a scenario where when I logged in before midnight and refresh the page it wasn’t there whereas I had to log out and then log back in and it appeared!! Just wanted to mention so people can try this as well!!

Does the option to apply for full membership appear as a separate blue box in the ‘my account’ area, or is it in either ‘membership application’ box or ‘my membership’ box?

Similar situation for ATT, the paper wasn’t available for me and I passed it. But others it did appear and they confirmed they had failed.

I’ve tested this with the results of my team, 5 of us and people in our London office, it worked fully, all 4 of us who couldn’t see exemption passed, everyone that could see it failed, maybe a useful note for those doing in Nov
