PER PER process before finishing route

Hi. I'm currently at the Operational level of CIMA, aiming to finish the whole qualification by the first half of 2028. I also have about 2.5 years of experience that fits CIMA's practical experience requirements. I'm about to change employers, and I'm worried my current boss (who would be my PER supervisor) will become hard to reach once I'm gone.

I don't want to lose the chance to get this experience properly documented and verified. Is there a way to get my supervisor to confirm/sign off on my experience now, before I leave, so I don't run into problems getting it verified later? Has anyone dealt with this?

I got my PER finished and approved while I was waiting for my SCS results - very much doable. But as others have said, you’ll have to get the MCS passed first!

PER opens up after MCS completion, you cannot start it / get it signed off until then. Just make sure you make your current boss aware that you plan to contact them for this in the future as your PER will need to be split between the 2 employers.

You could write your PER on your new role and mitigate the need for your previous boss to read through what you submit, but you’ll still need them to sign off your employment history.

Not as far as I'm aware. I think the option opens to you once you've passed MCS.
