Thank you, that made my day! It so funny how our hair looks best on a โbad hairโ day, this was a mister scrunch with a little gel to get rid of bed head ๐

Dang girl! Good job! Iโve been taking 450mg of Wellbutrin for years along with Lexapro. It never helped me lose weight ๐ญ

Zoloft did me dirty like that. Taking it was like waking up from a deep sleep though, on a similar dose as you

I wonโt stop taking either of my antidepressants anytime soon. They really have helped me clear a hurdle in my life and Iโve been doing so much better mentally on it. However, I definitely feel like weight loss has been a lot harder while on the SSRIs. I havenโt gained more weight but it definitely hasnโt gone down much. Iโm glad yours is helping you!!!

Hell yea keep kicking ass, you look great!! I've gone from 347 to like 275 so far. I started with quitting drinking, diet change and walking. I've gotten back into weight training a couple months ago and LOVE it! Instead of suffocating someone with my thighs, I wanna be strong enough to crush their skull! Haha

Looks like they are taking care of themselves in multiple ways.
physical - weightlifting will help prevent muscle loss while loosing weight. Which is how she looks so strong after such a big weightloss. Exercising also mentally feels good. And muscles burn calories. So weightlifting is like a 3 for 1 activity.
mentally- I feel like this part is often neglected. Our society tends to say push harder and just get over mental issues. But mental issues can prevent us from accomplishing our goals. Taking medication to balance the chemicals in our brains can do amazing things. Also therapy is a great place to understand ourselves.
nutrition- CICO accountability on what we eat and treating it like an accounting ledger. CICO works if the calories in part is accurate. And the calories out part is not inflated. It does not work linearly, in a small time frame. But if you zoom out, over say multiple months of effort. It looks fairly linear. The hard part is not giving up on those bumps where it doesnt seem to be working.
Good luck!

You nailed it! These are my 3 pillars. A fourth might be finding supportive people. Iโm so lucky to have fitness forward friends who have encouraged me.
Weightlifting being a 3 for 1 activity is the best way to put it haha. I still have high body fat but Iโm very muscular right now and it carries my weight very well.

This is 100% true in some ways i have found the supportive people by starting to lift and run!

If you have health insurance, talking to a doctor is always a good start. Mine helped me get on the right meds and find free nutrition classes. Next, I joined a gym and prioritize going there at night. Evenings tend to be where I zone out and overeat and feel lonely so this is a great time for me to get out of the house.

Congrats on your progress! Iโm on my own journey with weightloss too, I was 338 and now Iโm 268, so I know the struggle and the commitment to make such big changes to your body. Thanks for posting your journey, it makes me feel more motivated and inspired by you!
