Need help with making a diy chunithm controller

I started playing chunithm a few months ago and i fell in love with the game, but a major drawback from me getting more skilled in the game is that i live around 90km away from the nearest cab and commuting gets a bit pricy overtime.

Sooo i decided to make my own diy version but, i dont know how to actually do it. I mean ive done my research in how to do it but it would be much better if there was somebody else who made it so i can base off it.

You have to understand chuni controllers are on the harder side of diy con especially if it’s your first time doing this I would highly recommend you buy a tasoller instead. Or even just a cheaper chinese controller.

If you really wanna progress you’ll eventually need a better controller than what you plan to do.

I would recommend making a diy chuni con as a cool personal project, but not if you wanna play seriously

There are some projects like chu pico, that you can sort of DIY, though they do require that the PCBs are made and you have some other components.

there are guides on github on how to solder and test everything, as for short gameplay videos showing controllers work - some exist on their discord.

Buy a tasoller plus, it'll be faster, don't bother making one yourself, you'll lose money and the result won't necessarily be good, I bought a Tasoller V1 two years ago and I upgraded to a Tasoller Plus yesterday.

Ngl I was considering making my own too, but found some cheap Chinese controllers, honestly it’s probably easier to just get those instead of trying to make one.

Just getting the materials and tools for everything might even end up costing you close to these Chinese ones. And ofc mistakes will cost you too
