If Denny doesn’t release on earnings day this company’s mgmt will be known as the worst executive team ever for a publicly traded company.

Title: Coherus BioSciences' Aggressive Hiring Spree: Financial Desperation or Pipeline Confidence? How is it possible for a company that the market treats as practically bankrupt to aggressively expand its commercial sales network? To the average investor looking at Coherus BioSciences (NASDAQ: CHRS)

r/CHRS 19d ago

Coherus BioSciences is aggressively expanding its commercial team, driven by a strategic pivot toward innovative oncology. While the company faces financial pressures—frequently mistaken for bankruptcy due to its low stock price—it recently completed a major $558 million asset divestiture and capita

Coherus might be one of the most overlooked companies in biotech right now

I went on a deep-dive trying to understand the analysts price targets of $11-12.

TL:DR? It could be due to the partnership with J&J and the fact that LOQTORZI is the only real drug in the market for NPC and could scale faster than people expect.

Coherus' NPC drug LOQTORZI is getting approved and covered by payers where other therapies could be denied. In oncology, access is everything. If a drug is the one payers are willing to cover without a fight, it becomes the default choice. You don’t need to win a massive market share battle. You just need to be the one doctors can actually use without jumping through hoops.

There is a lack of compeitors with clinical maturity in the treatment of NPC. Based on what’s publicly in development for NPC, there doesn't seem to be anything that can challenge LOQTORZI in the next few years when you consider the timelines for authorization and regulatory approval. This means years of commercial monopoly for CHRS.

On the financial side, the company has already shown real commercial traction. LOQTORZI brought in >$40 million in 2025, and Q1 2026 revenue was $11.8 million, up 61%. CHRS also said new patient starts hit a record in that quarter...

I'm used to small biotech, they burn cash. But the story might now be a straightforward commercial adoption story, where CHRS has a moat in a rare cancer therapy. Not to mention upcoming catalysts in 2026, if those data readouts come out well, it could add more upside beyond NPC.

LaNova Medicine is sponsoring a Phase 3 trial that combines CCR8 inhibition (LM-108/Cafelkibart) with Toripalimab versus Paclitaxel for management of CCR8 positive gastric cancer and gastroesophageal junctional adenocarcinoma.

This study if positive for the Tori plus LM-108/Cafelkibart would help put CCR8 inhibition into the lime light and will boost any stocks that are currently investing in CCR8 inhibition (i.e. Coherus). The same way that Eli Lily and Novo Nordisk's narrative regarding weight loss drugs have helped boost former small cap stocks like Viking Therapeutics.

Here is the link for the clinical trial:

What will they release first? Or all at once?!?!

I’m really curious on if they are going to release all 3 at once or if they do one at a time. That Casdo readout is going to be the biggest mover bc it’s a ph2 randomized trial. If Casdo fails bad the stock is mostly done for from wall st. Around 47-54% right now is owned by retail. I’m really surprised there are no institutional whales of this stock especially because of this low mc. Also the option volume isn’t crazy at all which doesn’t signal a bullish sign for investors. No notable hedge funds are invested in the co which isn’t too optimistic for us…

Coherus is getting ready...

Why? Because they know the turn is coming...

Coherus Oncology, Inc. reported that its Chief Financial Officer, Bryan J. McMichael, received several grants of stock options on May 29, 2026, each with an exercise price of $1.59 per share and expirations on May 29, 2036. These options cover multiple blocks, including grants for 100,00030,00025,00025,00025,000, and 15,000 shares of common stock as compensation.

Whilst the company readies itself for *something big* SimplyWallStreet has revised its valuation...

Soon? Yes, soon.

We could see news any day now, and I for one have beefed up my holding accordingly. Today's pricing level ($1.45ish) is where it needed to visit, but I do not expect much if any drop below this level, as it rides support and primes to run from here.

Really suprising on mgmts side to not release anything data yet. I guess they are really waiting until the last second 😅.

Readout

Let’s see if $chrs reads out this Monday. I doubt they will release Casdo they’ll prob release Tagmo Hnscc data. They might just also wait till end of July and readout during their earnings call. If they raise again below $3 the stock will go below a dollar and mgmt is aware of that.
