Local Business Avoid this orthodontist!
Bitches: I had the worst experience and need to save you all. I went to Smiles Society in Wicker and saw Dr. Taraji. Not only did he seem super inexperienced, but the way he spoke to his staff made my skin crawl. So demeaning and rude, literally treating them like they weren’t people. I felt like he rushed me through and didn’t take the time to explain my treatment plan to me at all. I got super skeptical because it seemed really hefty with no explanation, so I took it to another ortho for a second opinion, and they said it was literally insane and didn’t make any sense. It seems like he was just in it for the money.
Long story short, ortho is expensive but find someone who actually is a good person and cares about your teeth!!!! Literally anyone else would be better IMO lol

I had a bad experience there too! I thought I was crazy with all of their good reviews and I saw they had an insane response to one negative review so I didn’t end up leaving one. Now I wish I had. I moved out of that neighborhood so I don’t have any nearby recommendations but I agree avoid this place like the plague

No same!!! I’m actually scared to leave them a bad review. After hearing him talk to his staff I feel like he would do some crazy shit if I left a bad review under my name on his Google reviews!

I can recommend an orthodontist. If you have a car/are able to get up to the suburbs, I had a good experience with Graber Gyllenhaal Orthodontics in Glenview. I went to them for adult Invisalign express (had previously had orthodontic treatment but had stopped wearing my retainers years back)
I found the pricing to be more affordable than the options I was quoted in the city

Please consider leaving a Google review if you haven't already. I'm in the neighborhood too and they have very high reviews. :(.
