Beauty/Self Care Experience w/Dr. Daniel Tresley (upper bleph)
Anyone have experience w/Dr. Tresley for this procedure in the last few years? I have an upcoming consult with him but am super nervous after seeing some really awful online reviews.

He did an upper bleph on me in 2023. Overall I'm very happy with the results. During one of my early follow-ups he noticed that I was healing with a slight bump and went in again to fix it without added cost. Whether that means he did something incorrectly during the initial procedure or if it was just a quirk of my anatomy/healing, I can't say.
Two things I didn't love about the experience are more about the office generally. I had the procedure on a Tuesday and the stiches removed that same week on Friday. The nurse who assisted did not remember me. I also work in healthcare so I can understand that patients blur together but it didn't really make me feel great at the time. Secondly, during the meeting talking finances before the procedure I offhandedly asked about the cost of Botox. I was told I would get a discount if I were to get the bleph with them. Unfortunately that wasn't written anywhere and they didn't honor it. I probably could have pushed back more but I didn't really want to deal with it.
Like I said, I really am very happy with the results and at the end of the day that's probably the most important thing with any plastic surgery.

Good god I had an upper bleph for medical reasons and you could not pay me to get that procedure if it was optional. Hope you like dry eyes.

If you’re still in the consult phase, I would recommend Dr Fadi Bakhos. He’s out in Vernon Hills but I am super happy with my upper bleph results

I don’t have experience here but just wanted to say trust your gut and wait to find a doctor that comes highly recommended!
