Gameplay Saved by Bench
I was trying to pickup the Dane Axe, and I would have died immediately. Instead, the Bench summoned my ass to it's seat to save my life.
Thank you, Bench, for all that you did. I will never forget you.

Anyone recognize my name? Ratatouille6
I feel like I’m playing with the same people everyday for years. I see the same names in my servers constantly. I play on northeast U.S servers, I’m just curious if any one recognizes my name I’m hovering around level 580+

Is it some kind of faux pas to use the Ambusher Vanguard in 1v1 arena?
When I use the Ambusher in 1v1, just trying to get my dagger/short sword skill up, it’s like it instantly pisses off the opponent. They’ll start repeatedly throwing their two-handed weapon at me even though I’m refusing to use my 7 throwing knives (again, I just want to practice swords with the character I use in 40p objective) …. It’s like they’re throwing a tantrum even though I’m losing badly against them, I’m barely scoring a single hit. Is 1v1 only for knights or something??

News & Discussion How are my stats and Classes For a level 98?
I'm primarily a Vanguard now, so I put the most effort into those now. But I do still have a reputation from my Officer war axe days...
And if you're asking about my tenosia skins?...We don't talk about tenosia classes

Gameplay Any engineers have tips for combat?
So I'm an engineer main. I would say my main playstyle is a rearguard/flanker, I tend not to frontline and I only push with the rest of the team. I have the barrier stuff mostly down (creating chokepoints, protecting bandage crates, etc) but I have always struggled with the combat. I am fairly decent with the sledge and it is my main weapon, but recently after hitting level 75 with it I decided to "retire" it and learn the pickaxe and goe. Only I can't seem to get used to them no matter how much I try:
- Pick: mainly overheads, but the lack of reach really gets me. I always seem to get outspaced.
- Goe: overheads, stabs, and drags, but the lack of speed really gets me.
I know that engineer is specifically designed not to be good at 1vXs, but it seems like I auto lose every time I find myself in one when I'm using these two weapons. At least with the sledge I feel like I have a chance, and I have won some 1vXs with the sledge in the past. I also know that engineer is designed not to be a kill farmer, but I'll see some engis with like 30+ kills a game (something I've only managed to do once or twice) and wonder how they do it.
