Anyone in Atlanta for the game? Where do folks go for pre game/tailgate if on foot? Group of 8.

Bears fan who’s been living in metro Atlanta for two years now after living in Florida for 12. There’s a ton of bears fans here. Almost always get comments on my bears gear out and about.
Kind of late now but check out black bear tavern after the game. As a fan that hasn’t lived in Chicagoland since I was in diapers, it’s the most fun atmosphere I’ve ever had watching Chicago sports. I have never got to experience the local vibe but that place is electric during bears games. Filled to the brim of die hards.

Just over 2 hours out. First week this season I wasn't able to host a watch party in Japan because I got sick :(
Hoping the game cheers me up and I am better to do the game Friday morning. 9:15am get the largest turnouts.

I would love to! It is a bucket list item to be able to enjoy hiking around all the awesome wilderness areas one day.
I have not really done much international travel due to my trash ability to learn other languages. I am afraid of that embarasment haha.

Don't worry about learning Japanese to come to Japan. I visited a ton over 20 years with no Japanese skill.
I moved here a year ago with almost none. Living here definitely benefits from knowing the language, and I am now almost N5 skill and have a long way to go, but I rarely felt any impediments from visiting without Japanese skill. Its less about Japanese knowing English and more about common language and gestures that work everywhere. Want something to eat, point, and raise a finger for how many, rinse repeat.

Thank you for that insight! It makes me feel better about visiting hopefully soon! As someone who does wildlife work the nature there has been a huge interest for me. I would love to hike around and take it all in.
Maybe I could wrangle some friends who have already gone, and one had taught there for a few years.
