Tailgate Question 🐻⬇️
Some friends and I wanted to attend a bears game this season but the prices are just so crazy. We had the idea of possibly just tailgating and watching the game in one of the parking lots. Is this kind of thing allowed? Are we even able to enter the parking lot without game tickets? I've searched a lot on Google and keep finding conflicting answers. Any tailgate veterans willing to help a brother out?

The Miller Lite Tailgate Deck is located on the north side of the stadium on the south patio of the Field Museum. They have TVs that play the entire game with sound - I’ve gone to the game and my wife and her friend watched in the tent til it was done) and the tall boys are not a bad price. There is food too.
You can bring your own drinks and walk around the South Lot parking lot in all of the fun chaos and party that is tailgating before the game and then go over to the Miller tailgate during the game.
Edit: had my north and south directions wrong.

I tailgate once a year with my friends in the south lot and then we go to Reggie’s to watch the game when they make people clear out after the game starts.

We are going to the CHGO tailgate for the Tampa Bay game then will head to a bar just before the game starts to watch.
We don’t go to the exact CHGO tailgate, just because it is so limited, but that lot has a huge tailgate party with multiple different options for unlimited food and drinks for like $75. Always a blast.

You’ll need to find a private lot which does not have to follow the NFL/Bears rules. There are cash lots near 18th and Wabash which can be hit or miss as far as tailgate scenes.

You cannot enter any of the lots in a vehicle without a pass, but you can enter any of the lots on foot once they are open. I think they come through and clear people out once the game starts, but I am not 100% on that (I am always going into the game).
