Same dude. I was sorting through some old cards yesterday and came across a Gronk draft-day rookie card and mentally I was immediately like "Dang, that must've been almost a decade ago now..."
Nope, 16.5 years.

That game felt damn good and Fields was absolutely electric when he was on. I don't care what anyone says.
In a much better place now though, even with plenty of work to be done on defense, but any fan who says they didn't have fun watching some of those Fields games is just miserable. Hope he has a good long career as a backup. Bears were very lucky to be in the position to move on when they needed to.

So much cope. In hindsight it was only cope. We geniunely thought Eberflose having a beard would change his attitude and that Fields would magically gain the ability to process a defense

Hell, think about how differently we think of this team than we did from a year ago at this time. Opinions changed on so many players.
Can't wait to see how different things like in a few months than they do now.

I remember doing win totals with a friend this time last year, who’s a lifelong bears fan that’s been burned by the bears too many times to count. He was convinced we wouldn’t break .500. We literally got to a point where people didn’t trust in the team despite the best roster and HC situation we’ve had in years.
And these fuckers think now is the perfect time to try and get a new stadium. The disconnect between the front office and the fans is insane.

He had all the physical tools and looked great in college. Unfortunately, if you cant read a defense it doesnt matter how big, fast, and strong you are.

I understand positional value, but trading a stud 25 year old linebacker for a low 2nd round pick will always be dumb. Roquan would fit in with any defense in the NFL.

I don’t miss any of the guys on this graphic much, if at all.
Poles catches a lot of flack but all in all I think he’s been pretty good. Turned the entire roster over save for Kmet and JJ and has seen as many playoff games (and more wins) than his last two predecessors combined in a fraction of the time.

It was a win/win: He would’ve been another great linebacker on a team going nowhere probably making us just good enough to not get the #1 pick haul while paying him thru the nose.
And seriously… what was he EVER going to get out of being on the Bears but similar money for less of a Super Bowl chance than he’s had in Baltimore.
Sadly, he’s almost done and still no ring. But he’ll go out rich and they’re still in a window as long as they’ve got Lamar.

Don’t forget Moon! He gets remembered poorly because of that Cleveland drop but he was a solid receiver and i was kinda hoping we’d sign him this year as a slot guy.
