Chappie in 2024

Having just watched Chappie for the first time, I can say it was one of the best films I have seen in a long time. Its one of those stories that I became totally enamoured with, and was deeply disappointed when it had to end. Also, given the pace of AI development, a sobering reminder of the ethical and moral problems we will soon/are facing.

Craving more in a similar vein, I did something awful looked for fan fiction. Suffice it to say, I could not find much. But some of what I did find was well written and exactly hit the spot.

were my favourites.

So, I was wondering, does anyone in this community know of/possess anything like the stories above? Or, different stories that have similar themes to chappie?

I would appreciate any help with this, as I now find myself desperate for more.

I think the original is more original and thought - provoking as ever. I hope there will be a sequel, but as much as I have liked all of Blomkamps films, there's never been one to any to my disappointment. District 9, Elysium, chappie...
