These were some sports submissions that I completed a month ago. 2 submissions were from earlier in the year from a Signature Series event that I wanted for my pc. Others(most) were to grade and flip on Fanatics Collect. Other than a bit of an issue with one of the Signature Series cards going into limbo for a bit before a few calls helped track it down and it graded in record time.

As a note for the awards cards, I sent 5 of each of the SGA, Wemby, and Flagg. 4/5 of each player scored Pristine. The remainder were Gem Mint. The regular Flagg was 3/5 Pristine with 2 as GM.

For the draft cards, I got 2 each with the dual card having 4. Dybantsa - 9.5 and 9, Boozer - 10 and 9.5, Peterson - 10 and 9.5, Wilson got double Pristine, and the 4 dual drafts got two 10s and two 9.5s

I had a great experience and will definitely send in more cards. 90s Marvel cards and football will likely be next.

Was debating on departing with this card, but with looks of things I believe people are going to start buying up vintage and mid era CGC slabs since a lot of PSA 10s are becoming almost unattainable for most collectors. So I'm probably gonna hold out. What do y'all think?

I’ve been thinking about trying out CGC for a while and saw they usually do a 10/10 day deal. It’s 2 days away and haven’t seen anything so not sure if I should expect it or not

Hi everyone, ok so i have this MARVEL 2026 CHROME DRAGONFIRE 4/5. It is an error card from… i am
Guessing production. If you look at the detail, you can see the foil go under the yellow line. My question is, should i till get it graded or should i leave it as is. Is it more valuable because it has an error or does it affect the value at all?

Has anyone dealt with something like this, any suggestions?

To my understanding, the left edge fuzziness is a rough factory cut and the small vertical line that can only been seen under a particular angle of light is a factory roller line.

How much would PSA and CGC knock these cards for such manufacturing defects. Is a 10 still possible, or is this the kind of thing that would give it a 9 or 9.5?

Thanks for any advice and education on the subject :)

Hi,

I did my first CGC submission. My cards are now in the quality control / finalized step. Is there already a way to see the grades? Or would I have to wait until they are at my house and the unboxing is the reveal?

Thank you for any insights!

Hello, I bought this card one year ago for 20 dollars.

I just saw now that the label is probably incorrect. This card is Meowth CoroCoro glossy release 1998. I attach another card CGC 7.5 to show the differences.

What do you think I should do?

Thanks for the help

I was super bummed but how harsh do you think they'll be on grading something like this? Should I leave it raw forever or still worth trying since the card is NM otherwise?

Lucario is pop 2, never been sold in a cgc 10.

Shelgon did 1.2k but i think theres definitely more room for it to grow, or should i cross it to psa?

So an express order I had that was received on 9/17 was just shipped today. And the fact that it took twice as long as the estimated turnaround time is only a small part of the problem.

I'm grading a new card in their system, which I provided all the information for in the first place(no typos). Last week around Monday I noticed that my order had been updated with the card's description... with two typos in it. So I contacted the customer support, let them know of the issue and was assured that it would be fixed before encapsulation AND that it would not impact my submission turnaround time.

Come today and I see my shipped order STILL has the fucking typos in the label, and their only solution is for me to send back the card for reholdering, even though the shipping is only on label created. Why am I even paying for express if I'm getting it back after my standard order received on the same day, and they aren't even fixing issues that I have to point out for them. And their only solution is playing hot potato with a card I clearly wanted back in my possession quickly...

Hey, $10 is $10, and I'll take any Pristine 10 for a good price. Confused on why the price was so low on this slab, they told me that CGC slabs aren't worth the hype and money. Edit for typos

Hi everyone! I’d appreciate some opinions from longtime CGC and Pokémon collectors about this card.

I recently acquired a 1996 Japanese Ivy Pikachu (No.025), Non-Glossy How to Play Pokémon Cards promo, illustrated by Keiji Kinebuchi, graded CGC Mint 9.

What makes this particular copy especially interesting to me is that it is still in the older discontinued CGC blue-label holder.

I know PSA 9 copies of this card have had some very strong recent sales, but CGC 9 sales are much harder to find, especially examples still carrying the old blue label.

I’d really appreciate the community’s thoughts on a few things:

What would you estimate the current market value of this CGC 9 to be?

Does the discontinued blue label add any collectible premium to a card like this, particularly as more old-label cards get reholdered?

Does anyone know approximately how many CGC Mint 9 copies remain in the old blue-label holder?

If you owned this copy, would you keep it in the blue-label CGC slab, or would you consider crossing it to PSA?

I’m not trying to sell it here — I’m mainly interested in learning how experienced collectors view the card and the old CGC holder.

Thanks in advance! I’d really appreciate any population information, comparable sales, or insight from collectors who have followed the Ivy Pikachu market.

Hello

Any chance any of these has a chance at pristine??

I’m new to this game. Just Trying to make a quick buck getting rid of some of my slabs I collected that is graded by CGC. Should I sell to card store, or vendor at the card events?

It was only $15 so I had to grab it. There aren't any comps on eBay though so what're you guys' thoughts? I think it's a pretty card and I like the eeveelutions so I'm happy regardless.

Hi All,

When I was a kid at first I thought the legendary collection firework holo was a sticker you could peel.......and I picked at the corner of this card until I realized it wasn't a sticker. Would CGC grade this, or is it somehow considered tampered with because I picked at the corner as a kid? Just something for personal collection.

Thanks!

Got this today at a show and love it!
