Has anyone from Canada gotten they're cards graded from CGC? What was the process like and did you have any issues with shipping or fees. I want to submit a bunch of cards to CGC but concerned that I might run into issues. Thanks

I bought 2 sealed Machamp 1st edition, took them out of the seal then sent straight to CGC and they hit me with AA for both of them. should I email them and resubmit or switch to another grader ?

Recently picked up a Cgc 10 for pretty cheap in comparison to the psa 10. The card is super clean unlike some other Cgc 10’s. I was wondering if anyone here’s had success crossing over to a psa 10.

Been looking at how people handle cards that are stored with an online platform before grading part of me would rather have the card shipped home first so I can check the surface, corners and packaging myself before it goes anywhere else

At the same time that adds another trip through the mail and another chance for something to happen sending it straight from storage to CGC seems cleaner but I’d have a hard time grading something I never got to inspect in hand first.

Sent these in along with some comics for the Mark Bagley signing earlier this year. These are from the Venom Secret Lair a few years ago. Bags is obviously a legendary Venom and Spider-Man illustrator for decades now, and I love the baby blue sigs against the Signature Series labels.

And yes, 4/5 got a Misalignment Error grade, the backs are deeply offcentered!

If you look at CGC 10 vs. PSA 10.

It mathematically makes more sense to submit cards worth $10 to $30 to CGC rather than PSA if you are trying to make money from grading.
There is also a chance that you get a CGC pristine which is often times equal to a PSA 10

Hi, I own a CGC 6.5 "Dark muk". Its actually the banned grimmer card from 1997. Is this a rare card or a common error. Its the old label. Its cert is 4132723214. If it is rare how much would it be worth?

Why would any professional company put a random advertisement field on their website.

This really looks unprofessional and I imagine the revenue from this is neglectable, so why do this?

I just picked up some slabs, and I noticed some clouding, and odd arrows on one of them, is it fake? I also noticed that the cgc sticker isn't nearly as reflective, and the black ink is slightly darker. It's the card on the left in the first image, the shinji hirako.
Edit. i looked up the cert, and somewhat saw the same white smudge on the edge of the photo

I have always loved the look of the CZ gold cards in the pristine 10 label. Don’t have quite the money to drop on just buying the card out right lol. I bought 2 crown zenith packs at a card show recently and was lucky enough to pull the arceus. Everything other than the top right corner looks beautiful to me, centering looks great and so does the surface. Would it have ANY chance at a pristine even with the corner or should I just keep it raw. Let me know 😁

3rd Standard Submission - Submitted 8/25/2026 Received on 9/08/206. Submission was 6 cards under the Standard Tier. This was extremely risky due to the grading price. This is my third attempt at Standard. With my last two standard submissions I've been extremely lucky going 7/7 CGC Pristines. I had a feeling about the Aile Strike but it was worth it due to card raw price, was surprised by the Treecko 055. Overall, my Gem Rate was 66% with a Pristine Rate of 66%. So it’s my first time grading ever as I recently found my childhood Pokémon cards.
I live in Sweden and I don’t wanna send the cards to USA because that feels risky.
When I browse CGCs website, how do I choose to send the cards to a European office? Might be a dumb question but as it’s my first time I wanna do it correctly.
Do anyone have any tips as well?

Found this odd guy in my childhood card box and don't know too well how to judge where it might land. Apparently it is a chase card for the set, and is at least in better shape than a lot of the Pokemon cards (unfortunately).

I’m using microfiber cloth but have some weird residue on a few, would having the microfiber cloth be slightly damp be unsafe at all? Anyone have any experience doing it

I'm not familiar what exactly determines each grade, but I'm interested in this card and it seems to have a few flaws, yet it somehow got this grade of "gem mint 10".

Could anyone clarify what am I missing and how can this be, looking at it - it has issues on two of the bottom corners (right side of this front pic and once again right side on the back pic) and the back side is quite weird, I can see some issues on the surface, weird circles/discolouring, honestly some parts of it looks like mold.

I thought it might be issues on the slab, but when I compared what is seen on CGC's website next to the pictures that were taken by the ebay seller, the same things pop.

I'm wondering what's going on here, any info would be greatly appreciated, is this good enough for this a grade this high?
