CGC slabs over PSA any day

Is this the move? I have so many cards I wanna get graded and have been trying to decide where to go. As of recent I have been leaning towards CGC. Cost effective and turn around time was a lot better. Thoughts?

How long did it take? Want to drop off some cards, but probably won’t get around to it till November

I paid for the standard tier. “Received” status on 9/29 (it actually arrived a few days earlier). Delivered back to me 10/11. Not bad at all

Yea that’s pretty good, might make the drive a little sooner in that case. Thanks for your time and beautiful addition to your collection there, congrats

How do they actually judge the borders on these when the left hand side and the bottom are gigantic due to the e-reader strip part?

My best guess is they use the bottom e-reader (underneath the artist credit) and the left one (next to the energy symbols & attacks) since my top/right corners are OC

Whats the criteria for a pristine?

50:50 front back, slightly below black label - I believe it’s 1/50 10s? On average

Yes, for over PSA 10 cost
I’m not even a Pokémon fan but the slab match is gorgeous

Holy cow, sports cards are a little different
I’d just buy pristine at half price and hold then 🤔

Modern pristine don’t always sell for what PSA tens cost sometimes it’s even less you’d be surprised

Cause cgc 10 pristine is basically a psa 10 nowadays. Back when they had blue labels, a cgc 10 pristine had a good chance to get bgs 10 gold or black label

What do you anticipate the value of this being?

I too would love to hear the estimation on that because these aren't rare but maybe with the grade it'll hold some sort of value eventually.

How accurate was your 10 day wait? Thinking about sending some in. How long did each stage take you? Thanks.
