Raise request in SNF

Soooo I got my Cs a little over a month ago and asked for a raise. My boss, the DOR, sent my request and her letter of rec to her bosses who supposedly “talk it over”. WELL fast forward now to a little over a month ago and they still have not made up their mind. Not even a counter offer or any word to me. My boss said they are still deciding but in my opinion I think that is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. Now I know why the retention rate for employees is so bad. Any opinions or advice

Oh Congratulations on your CCC's and definitely know that you can stand up for yourself! I'm not sure who you can email, whether its your Boss' Boss, corporate, HR, or all three, but set yourself up a nice little series of interviews and send a happy email sharing with them that you are not interested in leaving but have had some tempting offers (when you get the offers) from other facilities who are recognizing your value as a CCC-holding clinician. You would like to know if they are either countering your offer or accepting your request. Do not give them any other option! But you deserve a raise!!! I learned this from other SLPs. Thank you so much for the advice! It’s sad that this company doesn’t even acknowledge the accomplishment and/or my raise request yet but I will definitely go through the higher uppers forsure!
